Church Security Alliance is please to announce a new four DVD training series. Glen Evans recently completed a one day training session at a local Christian University. We arranged to have the entire session videotaped and produced for use in your training program. We have had discussions with so many of you and one fact has stood out. It is very difficult to get local training is the area of dealing with physical confrontations. Traditional martial art training is often not “street ready”. Additionally, the skills you need as a private citizen does not include the full range of skills you need as a Church Security Officer. This four DVD series can assist in providing a strong skill base for your security team in the intervention in critical incidents.
The mindset for personal self defense is entirely different than that required when your job requires you to place yourself into the fray and de-escalate or take control of the situations and end a physical threat to church members, guests, staff, pastors or you. While others can distance themselves from a problem situation the church security officer must move to the source and affect a solution.
