I think the thing I learned from these videos is how time slows down and speeds up when we are under stress, and secondly, that things don't always turn out the way we would like them to. I found these interesting, did you?

Thanks Glen, excellent insights from one who has been there. I appreciated the comments he made stressing "making sure" his family is safe rather than assuming they are safe.

You are so right Glen, things just don't always go according to the script or the training we have received and we must be ever vigilant to what is going on and what changes as we act and/or react to the incident as it begins to unfold.  Too often we assume, often wrongly, that we know what we need to do and what will happen and we end up surprised that it does not come out that way, when if we were vigilant, we might have been able to spot a change and adjusted our actions and reactions for better,. safer and more successful results in the end of it all.
